Robert D. Todd

Bio

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved around the country with my parents as I grew up, before returning to the greater Cincinnati area to pursue my college degrees. During my childhood, I taught myself several computer programming languages and basic system hardware. I shocked my parents by choosing marketing rather than computer science at Miami University. However, my technical savy did not go to waste. While pursuing the marketing degree I started and ran my first company, Todd Media - a professional photorgraphy, video and special effects studio. There I worked on commerical production work and wrote numerous programs for video codecs in the early days of video on the internet. I graduated from Miami University in 2005 with a 3.496 GPA and continued running Todd Media.

A few years later I contacted my old law professor from Miami because I had a question about a bailment issue. He was very impressed that I remembered what bailment was and encouraged me to attend Law School. I took the LSAT, the pretest for law school, and preformed well enough to get numerous scholarship offers, including full rides with housing allowances and book stipends. I chose the University of Cincinnati, College of Law, where I was fortunate to study under some terrific professors and obtain some outstanding job experience.

However, being a self-starter, I launched a solo practice after passing the Ohio and Kentucky bars. At the firm, I help clients with civil litigation and estate planning.

In my spare time I pursue a myriad of hobbies and subjects. I enjoy a good day in my workshop completing some tactile project - which could be anything from reparing a car, fabricating something from metal, to constructing a custom piece of furniture.

I now live in Franklin, Ohio with my wife and our son Sawyer.
